"Jeff Han demos his breakthrough touchscreen"
Is this the future of the HCI : Human computer interface?
Do you know the Ted talks? ted.com? (remember you can click on the interactive transcript... and can also activiate the subtitles...)
Touch Screens... the latest buzz and omnipresent on our smart phones...
Here is a presentation that is now 5 years old. Will the next generation of touchscreens include some of the features and gestures that Jeff Han presented way back then.
(Touch screens are soon to be reincarnated with the Apple iSlate (?), coming to a screen near you on January 27th...)
Please leave a comment to let the group know what you think of this!
Homework for our third class:
There are many "scientific" TedTalks please find one to post to the blog, explaining why you chose it!

An interesting subject, a good presentation but it is not always the case. How many of us are working on the subjects like this? Can someone make a presentation, like this one, on a subject which is not easy to understand or which has not a device to show at the end? I don’t think that someone will whistle while you are talking about your analysis of a near-optimal cardinality estimation algorithm!!!
